Josh Meredith - Violin, group violin

Josh Meredith has been with the Hunter Street Arts Academy since he and his family moved back to Birmingham in January 2019. He began playing violin at age three - his first one was actually a tissue box with a ruler stuck in it - and principled in the instrument while earning a BA in Church Music from Samford University in 2003. Josh has a wide range of playing experience ranging from symphonic orchestras to bluegrass and worship bands. He has served as a violin teacher in several different capacities since 2004, including three prior years with the Hunter Street Arts Academy before his family left Birmingham in 2014. He enjoys teaching all styles, all experience levels, and all ages.
